Image Quality Enhancer in your browser
Image Quality Enhancer improves an image with filter-based brightness, contrast, saturation, and optional sharpening on a browser canvas. This is not a neural-network model. It uses browser canvas filters, not AI reconstruction. It tunes how the image looks; it does not recover detail that the file does not contain.
Start from the enhance preset, adjust the sliders, and choose whether to sharpen. PNG and WebP can preserve transparency when the source has an alpha channel and Background is set to Transparent; JPG output is flattened onto your fill colour, with a quality control for JPG/WebP.
Image Quality Enhancer shows the adjustments applied, the sharpening choice, the output dimensions, the format, and the file size. Browser canvas export strips EXIF, GPS, and most other source metadata. Animated GIFs are processed as a single still frame; animation is not preserved.

Frequently asked questions
Is Image Quality Enhancer an AI quality enhancer?
No. Image Quality Enhancer uses browser canvas filters and optional sharpening — not a neural model. It changes appearance, not the underlying detail.
Does selecting No on Sharpen in Image Quality Enhancer really skip it?
Yes. The Sharpen control is a working Yes/No: No applies no sharpening, Yes applies a fixed sharpening pass.
Can Image Quality Enhancer recover detail from a low-quality image?
No. Filters cannot add detail that is not in the file; they adjust brightness, contrast, colour, and edge sharpening only.
Can I export Image Quality Enhancer as PNG or WebP?
Yes — the enhanced image exports as PNG, JPG, WebP, or same-as-input, with a quality control on the JPG and WebP paths.
